Default HELLO...My very first post...

Hello everyone,
This site is a Godsend for enthusiasts that are "ate up with it" as I am. In a year of reading and lurking, I've learned more than in the twenty years of cover to cover reading of every performance boating magazine that I could possibly buy or subscribe to.

Look forward to learning even more.

There are some real "characters" here, and I love the keyboard horseplay with the mudslinging and B.S.

Favorite threads so far: Great moments in cat history followed by the Lake George Poker Run thread currently running. Some funny sh*t there. Makes me wish I'd fixed my boat and signed on to run.

I boat at LOTO but broke a few years ago and haven't found the time to do a proper repair. (I try to do all my own work)

Current boat 1992 American Offshore 3100. 509's with B&M 250 blowers, bone stock Bravos with nosecones on Stellings boxes. Top speed, a little over 130 mph.

Boat needs about 2K in repairs. (cables and hoses) and could use updated drives, XR's, B-Max etc. Stock Bravos have slightly twisted shafts, but still work. Hull is perfect, interior and carpet is new. I'd take 48K on the trailer as is. I'm wanting something bigger and faster. Sound familiar?

Glad to be part of "The Family".

Your right about the characters here! Imagine all the major roles if they made Offshoreonly: The Movie!
