i drove 3 different f250 and f350 4x4 shortbed psd srw trucks, all of them had a driveline vibration under hard acceleration from a dead stop. some were more pronounced than others. i figure it will be much worse towing a heavy load. i asume it has something to do with the 2 pc rear drive shaft. are any of you guys getting the same type of vibration. these were 2001 and 2002 model year trucks, thx for youe input, rm

Motor mounts, driveshaft carrier bearings, and U-joints... all places to be checked regularly, and need replaced based on use.
Also, depending on the exhaust on the truck; sometimes the exhaust will repeatedly bump the transmission crossmember. This also feels like a driveline vibration.

with the drive shaft spacer the drive shaft should not have any bends in it. I did an 8 inch on my buddies superduty and without the spacer it would shudder on excel, once we installed the spacer it made the drive shaft have no bends, other than the obvious one at the case and axle...but where the carrier baring is, there was no angle.....you can look under and see if it is there, should be a block bolted between the carrier bearing and the frame. should be about two inches or so thick....some companies say with only 5 you don't need it, but if you had some shutter before the lift and none was installed then it will be worse...not sure some lifts sell them separate.. not sure but your truck may be able to have a single piece drive shaft made, i know the crewcab are to long but your extra cab maybe short enough..if not check on the spacer and if not there get one installed, should fix most of the shudder...
