Default Best Anchor?

I am looking for a new Anchor to use in the sandy soil around SWFL (Fort Myers Beach). Who makes the best one? What size would I need for a 382 Fastech?

What is everyones opinion on this type?

Thanks for your help!

Awesome anchor...I use it on my 382. I store it in a bag that came with me Dewalt Drill/Flashlight/Saw bag. It fits perfectly with the rope when I store it.

I like the fortress with 5-10 feet of chain rode works well in any soft bottom

Owned an Alum Fortress w/ my 28' Pantera & it was too light.

Have a Box Anchor now (size small) & it holds my 32 Spectre no problem as well as another boat or two when rafting.

I keep it & the line in a duffle bag which makes it easy to walk up to the bow w/o worying about dropping it or scratching anything.

The box anchor requires far less scope than the others too.

I use the FX-11 set at 45 degrees with 6 foot of chain 100ft of line. Some times it will not hold on soft bottoms The anchor locker on the front of my Hustler was made for this anchor.

Fortress FX-16 for your 382. Same anchor I use, it's awesome - it holds like nothing else.
