Default Sealer?

I'm painting my car and I plan to seal it right before painting.

My question is what do I do if I get some dirt in or run the sealer?.......we are using Standox.

Thanks.

well , you should not get runs if applied properly , just sealing , not building like primer.

if you get little smalll dust nibs , don't sweat it , just base/clear over and those flaws dissapear if you sand/polish..

you can however tack it off with a tack cloth if it is not a wet on wet sealer. touch the paper first to make sure sealer is not still tacky.

not real familiar with that brand , i'm a sikken's / ppg painter..

Whaen spraying Standox if you get dirt or a run in the sealer it is best to apply one coat of base and then sand it out to prevent the sealer from guming up the paper. Then continue to apply base
