looking for an aluminum trailer
#2
DEFINATELY want triple axles with disk brakes on two of them. NO question.
Fuel is 6lbs/gallon
149 gallons is 894lbs.
Beer, water, ice, etc are 8lbs. gallon.
Full FW Tank is 19 gallons which is 152lbs. + all of the aforementioned.
Then tools, anchors, gear, etc. etc. etc.
You are close to 11,000 lbs. with just the boat and accessories and fluids.
You definately want triple axles with 16" E-load rated tires.
Nextrail makes a great trailer at a fair price. The one under my boat is a little lesser known, McClain out of TX. I am happy with it. My specs are similar to yours above, probably slightly heavier. I have triple 6K lbs. axles and would not want ANY less.
However, if I were buying a new trailer, it would be a Myco. A custom Myco cradles the boat. Others like Manning build similarly. Its big coin, but worth ever single aluminum penny.
Any other bunk trailer just rests the boat on top of a couple of bunks.
