well i've decided no more car engine boats for me as my body cant take working on them in the florida heat and upside down in a bilge with crap poking me all over isnt my idea of enjoyment, just to do minor servicing, so im thinking of getting the 28 that Ross is building and have it layed up for a pair of 300x's.. so i was wondering if anybody has one and how they like it and maybe some input on how to order it? i really like the one they have on their website under used ,i talked to ross this morning and the price seems reasonable ,if they can keep the weight down and still handle some rough stuff
thanks

my motors are fine and run great, its the starters and oil changes and spark plugs that bug me, besides i could have an outboard powerhead on the bench in 20 minutes and back on in 40 not 8 hours to do the 540's not to mention the outdrives that have to come off and im tired having to call friends for help with these projects. it very stressful when im running it all the systems and sub-systems and sub-sub-systems that run thru my mind when cranking these motors up and making them bark 5900 rpm's, it takes a friggin crew to operate this boat and thats not what im into anymore,i just want to throw the boat in and go for a ride and come home and flush and rinse, not 2 hours of clean up after
