While we are in Destin for the Worlds, are there scooters to rent like in Key West? Is that the normal means of getting around there?

yes they have quite a few of the rental places off of shore drive i bielieve thats what its called over there buy wallmart

Just be very careful. That main drag through there is 4 lane and people drive like it is an interstate highway.

I wouldn't want to be on a bike at night there going between pits and AJ's Being its out of season the traffic want be bad and the weather might be iffy
