Default 177 Vs 250 blower, any gaing in HP

Is there any gain running a 250 blower over a 177 blower.

Lets say Both setups would have intercoolers and running 5 psi boost on a 454.

What kind of HP increase if any would be seen on the with the 250?????

even though only running 5lbs boost, you will have to turn the 177 faster then normal (smaller pulley's) to pull through the intercoolers. Go with the 250's if possible.

The initial fuel mix will be cooler with the 250 and more dense because it is not spinning as fast as the 177. The innercooler will be able to cool the charge the same amount of degrees in both applications assuming they have equal efficiency. Thus the 250 will create a cooler/denser fuel mixture and make more HP. How much more is unknown. I would guess maybe 5-10% more HP.
