The old man and I saw a brand new Mustang GT500 today. Sounded great as it drove past us, better than the 'Vette that was following it.

Here's a couple of pics. We had him open the hood, he says he's putting down 445HP at the rear wheels.

Dad offered him the Cig as a trade, he said he's had enough water...he's from Louisiana, just outside New Orleans.

445 hp at the rear wheels is very impressive, great looking car.

Sick looking car! I saw one while I was at the local ford dealer early this week.

Car mags are slamming the car for being too heavy and not fast enough. The 500 HP Shelby isn't any faster then the 03 Cobra with 390 HP. What is wrong with that picture?

that has a saleen supercharger kit on it... is that a real gt500 or a pieced together one?

I'm not sure if it was real or not. I didn't see the back to see if it said "Shelby" like I've seen online.

Good eye, now that I look closer the one at the dealer had a super charger that looked similiar to a whipple.
