Pcm ??? for you efi guys

This might sound like a stupid question, but does a boat with twin efi motors run 2 pcm's or 1 for both. I would figure it is like cars 1 for eacj, but wasn't sure, can somone clear this up for me.. Thanks JOHN

In some boats they slave one ECU to the other so you can read both from a single hookup. Not sure what the advantage is but it has provisions for it. I found out the hard way that you have to run completely separate electrical feeds to them or the ECU will freak
