Default New Chicago Poker Run Pictures

Erik Anderson, Extreme Boats Magazine photographer, has added more shots to the Chicago Poker Run photo album. There is an awesome shot of Steve running the OSO Powerplay with Downtown Dave Brown in his 42' Fountain in the backgroud. The helicopter had Powerboat Magazine and American Powerboat TV on board. Enjoy!

Are you kidding me !!!!!! great photo of the "Poker Face" Baja getting some air. Thought it would be a great picture for the office....... guess not !! cant print it, but I can "Buy It" Extreme Boat Magazine... market your photos somewhere else!! We have thousands of photos from our memebers that "share " them with us. Just check out any of Lucky Strike Jr. contributions. great photos that he wants to share with the rest of the offshore crowd. Just a shame you can even log on !!

It's a business (EBM.) Last I checked, it costs money to rent the helicopter and pay the photographers. And I don't think (could be wrong) that Powerboat, Hot Boat or any of the other magazines let their photos out for free. That's the way I see it....bash me if you like.

I was bummed that the shots are now copy protected. When I started this thread I planned to copy the shot and post it here. I understand it is a business and bills do need to be paid. The prices for those photos are cheap compared to some of the competition. I still wish they would allow the low res shots to be shared.

The many shots I have posted here from the run were taken by our photographers. If you didn't notice they did not have a watermark on them. We want them shared.
At the end of the year we will be sending out a DVD of the event along with the picture DVD of every picture taken at the event. Each participant gets all the pictures taken at the run for no charge. They are not thumbnails but actual pictures.

And yes Poker Face has to be one of the best shots taken. I had posted that way back in August and didn't want to repeat it.

Here is the shot of Poker Face. They will returning to the run in 2007 with something new. Don't know how they will outdo this boat.
