What are you looking to do? How much do you want to spend? There is a lot that you can do with the pieces in that motor, as they are GM's best stuff, The main restriction on the motor is the stock intake if you choose to leave the motor with its stock efi, unless you put a blower on it. New head gaskets, one whipple and mild boost, and you have just gainned 200+ HorsePower.

He told me about 100 hp. Basically brings them to between 500 and 525. which frankly is about all you can ask of a stock Bravo anyhow.

Site says $6850 plus R&R motor, so in the $7500 range.

I'm having Derebery Performance Marine rebuild my 502's. Around 500 reliable horsepower. Stock Bravo 1's. Prices are a little above those above.

Bore 0.030" over
Replace ECU
Port and polish the heads, oversize inconel exhaust valves and SS intake valves
New cam
New crane hardware on the head, rockers, springs etc
Aeromotive fuel pump and pressure regulator

First class people and operation. Call Matt: 903-786-3797

What are the cam specs? What exhaust system do you use?

Smarty, I have no idea yet. We've discussed using the same cam spec'd in the HP 500. I'm headed back up to Texoma next weekend to check on progress. I'll get the details.

I installed Stainless Marine exhaust a couple of years ago. We're going back with that set up.
