Sammy,
I hope my memory isn't failing me, but I put together 2 Gen6 502's around the start of this year and I am almost certain we just used the FelPro "normal" big block head bolts. They were GM 502 short blocks with GMPP 502 cast iron heads. The ARP bolts for "oem cast iron heads" should work fine. 135-3601 for hex head and 135-3701 for 12 point. I can check on Monday in my computer system at the shop to be certain. I can look at the invoice for those engines. If I happen to by near the shop Sat, I will check for you.

BillK's number looks correct to me also. It only list up to a 454 on the "application" but the bolts should be the same for a 502.

135.3601 is the correct ARP bolt for a 502. When you get them, if you compare them to a "stock" set that came on the Merc motor, you will have 3 different length bolts from ARP, and only 2 from Merc. The middle size ARP bolts go in the 2 lower corners inside the head
