How Many Gallons ????
#2
Hey Gary,
13.5 gal per hour is not bad for a 600HP engine; gotta love EFI babi...
I would say that my boat burns about the same 10-15 gal per hour...
Zup, PE, Jcap, and other with NA blower engines surely burn a whole lot more than that...
I don't keep track of the total gallons per year any longer because the road tax brake is nearly a wash with sales tax now a days.
It used to be we paid $0.36 per gal taxes on $1.50 per gal gas. Now I think it's $0.26 per gal taxes on $2.50 per gal gas.
If I was to make an educated guess, I spent about $100 per week for May thru October; 26 weeks, $2600, 60-70hours.
Yes, worth every penny...

I don't track it, just use it!
I can tell you I get between 2.5 and 3.0 mpg, and use ~280 miles on my GPS as the range for my 96 gallon tank; that's an average across all conditions and loads - gotta love the SB!
