I spoke to our insurance agent and they graciously offered to deduct $100 off of the price of our insurance if we laid up our boat (blown motor) for a year.
Location is Ontario Canada, boat a ’89 Formula F311, current insurance is $1700. (80k+8K for trailer - full agreed value – 1k deductible). Yeah I know 80k, I keep waiting for the request for a survey. Guess that will come when we go to splash it again.
Anyone local know of a lay up policy?
Thanks in advance.

If your not going to use the boat cancel the policy and do a straight Inland Marine type policy just Teft and Fire. Which means you'll have no Insurance if you put it in the water it's just for transit/storage. [email protected] if you have any questions.
