They run that contest every September. The 68 Blue camaro "true grit" was the original 68 pro stock camaro. Same owner, he just updated it after being stored for 30 some years. That orange 69 camaro with the white stripes, is one of the chicago street racers from the neighborhood. That camaro has a "big" inch small block in it with a "ton" of spray.
I've seen him at a local track a few years back for a test and tune night, and he clicked off a couple of 8.20's and 30's shutting it off at 1000 feet. The car will solidly in the 7's, on 10.5 W's and he street races all over the country for some big cash.
He always runs it with the clock towers off, I just happen to see a few of his time tickets in his tool box.

We where there 2 years ago, they just showed that on speed channel last week. Thjey didn't show the orange Camaro on speed , and this one Didn't show Roy Gustufsons 69 Camaro that runs like that orange one and is like a total show car. Brian Ambrosi's Gremlin only makes a little more Hp. than mine on nuts, that wasn't even his best pass. And it is an Amc engine in that car. Mine isn't a chassis car though, but when right will wheelie is a$$ off.

Frankie, The True Grit car was Ted Borowski old pro stock. I didnt know that car was still around. I did alot of dyno and tunning work for him. Since he passed away three years ago I havent been over there much. Alot of people would be suprised at the big names on the drag curcuit whos motors come out of there. Brian
