Default Had a blast in a local fun run

This past saturday we have a Fort Myers offshore Thanksgiving fun run. You can see more pics of the other boats and info on this forum under Fort Myers Offshore.

Plenty of big go fast boats. There were a couple of smaller including me diehards

Trip was 175miles round trip for me. Burned a full tank of gas. Ran hard to our detination 4000-4900rpm.. for a good 40-60 miles(70-78mph). For the trip back I was under a half tank of fuel sea were aty 3-4'. I kept it at 3300 and did not touch the throttles. See pic below as I was pulling into the inlet to load the boat.
Some of the other boats were 50' Nortech's outerlimits, 42 Gig, dragon. About 22 boats in all.
I was in the air most of the time on my run down. But the swells were space out and the landings were smooth.

Here are a few shots.

They did bring a fuel truck. I asked to fill up but it idint work out and the nit was getting late. I left the stop just under a half of tank. I just could bot play at all on the way home. Can you imagine how hard that is when the other boats are passing you..argh!!
