Default Aircraft wiring on a 500 EFI?

I am assuming that the motor is sealed and to sanctioning bodies spec.....it is on the water pump , intakes bolts , fly wheel and has a serial # on all the tags.....WHat gives.

They seal them with little marks of paint on all of the bolts. They do not use "safety wire" as we used to call it in motorcycle and PWC racing.

I will get some pictures of the safety wiring and post them aall water pump bolts ( hex HEad cap ) intake and harmonic balancer bolts are safety wired and all have matching serial #'s on them.

As an Aircraft mechanic, why would you safty wire the harmonic balancer bolts. it would throw the balancing off i would think.

My 500EFI has the wire being discussed on at least one intake bolt, haven't seen any elsewhere on the motor. Mine is a 2001 year model, and I believe the wire is a tamper seal, desiginating the motor was assembled by Mercury Racing.
