I'm going to have my Bravo lowers painted this spring, just some nicks and stuff from the previous owner I want to get rid of. I had the thought of painting them a satin silver just for something different, but part of me just wants the stock look too. Would silver lowers turn off a potential buyer down the road, raise suspicions? Not a big deal either way, just wondering what the board's opinion is. BTW...they're on a 33' PowerPlay and are stock Bravos.

Painted mine silver I just like the look, it would not bother me what color they were if I was buying. I saw a pair painted to match the Apache they were hanging on uppers, lowers trim cylinders the whole packaged looked great.

For maintenance reasons, I like using a sandable black primer. Holds up very well, and if you catch the skeg in the mud or sand they touch up real easily. Leave the upper portion gloss black and tape off the lower section for the primer.
