Default painter wanted

Im looking for someone on long island to give me a reasonable price and repaint my 24 banana. I trailerd the boat over to a place today and thought the price was rediculous. No glasswork needed and only looking to have top deck and sides redone no cockpit or bottom. Any one interested?

Define ridiculous. I would not be surprised $1200+ in materials and including all of the R&I's prep etc. 150-200 hours labor.

Tuff,
Look for the thread "Macco paint job". I had my 24 Sunsation raceboat painted for $1200.00 They painted from the chine up, and the deck. I was very satisfied-I didn't want to spend alot because it is a raceboat. I did all the prep including removing the rubrail and accessories. I also wet sanded it before delivering the boat to them. Good luck.

rediculous is $18,000, sand and paint, also included removing hardware told me material would be over 3,ooo and figure cost at about another 20% for surprises. no glasswork needed

I agree you're boat came out great and you could not beat the price.

I could not get one of my local shops to do that kind of job for that kind of money.

I'll agree excessive. Talk to boatnt. His boat looks great. I'm in the business and know his expectations and I was impressed.
