Well, Matt and I did the same thing that every fan would do.....We bought the Miami Vice Directors cut last night. Ran home, fired up the dvd player, and watched some of Hollywoods newest!

Nigel and I did the same thing! We were very eager to see how Michael Mann would merge all of his different shots into that race scene.
I thought the filming was beautiful and the shot angles he used made it very exciting to watch! But I was hoping to hear a great soundtrack running alongside the footage of our fabulous boats racing (the movie's soundtrack overall should have been better).
The most amazing thing to me is that they spent all of that time (and money) for just a minute or so in the movie (I am positive that I could have cut that movie's budget in half)!

Bottom line: Everyone looked great and it was really fun to watch!

That movie sucked so bad I needed somthing to do. You guys got ripped off. And I lost $20

I know, every time I got ready to go by the camera they cut away. At least they put the race pic in.

Could you guys get the footage they didn't use??

I'm sure for a big fee. There was some excellent shots. I know me and Myrick both almost hit the camera.

Hollywood should realize that gun fire and explosions are common boat racing is something not seen on the big screen.
