Friend of mine has an 06 F-150 Crew Cab Lariat with a stage 3 roush pkg. Vehicle has 6,000 miles. Her husband passed away so i called Ford and Roush to get some info on this vehicle. The installation of the supercharger VOIDS the factory warranty, and Roush picks up the warranty from that point...BUT ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL OWNER...2nd and subsequent owners get NO WARRANTY AT ALL !! So we have a 2006 F-150 Lariat Crew loaded that was almost $50k WITH NO WARRANTY TO THE NEXT OWNER

not for me...friends husband passed away and was gonna help her out, buy it, and try to re-sell it, but unsure of the market on a $30K plus truck with no warranty

5.4 long blocks are a lot less than merc motors! That does suck though , My bud just bought a stang stage 3 for like 50k+. Wonder if he knows that , he changes cars like underwear. When ford goes under it won't matter anyway.

just a friggen joke...how does a dealer do this. how does a manufacturer team up with a compny like Roush and allow this. no wonder there in the tank

EVERYTHING SUCKS !

they make that known when you buy the vehicle, no real secret, its a bad deal in this situation, but you are still buying a hopped up vehicle... even when the orginal owner has it, roush has to approve everything under warranty (and it usually has to be at a roush service center)....

Does the Vin # reflect that a change has been done? If not take off the parts sell them, and put the original parts back on. Still going to lose money, but your right trying to sell an 06 w/o warranty... that's going to be tough

wow lets bash Ford because they teamed up with one of the best Ford tuners in the world who will actually warranty the product. Its a tragedy that this happened but when he originally bought the vehicle the warranty is explained and he still bought it.
