Default Removed Accessories and Mounts

I recently removed my engine mounts, hydraulic steering, pitot tubube hose , drive indicator cable and water dump from the transom of my boat.

I planned on drilling out the holes that went through the transom to get to wood and remove the 4200 sealant, cut dowels to length, coat them with resin and insert them in the holes. Once dry, I planned on using resin mixed with filler to patch the holes and then take the boat to a gel guy for finishing.

Is this the right/best way to do this work?

Seems right and easy.

Thank you,

Kirk
