Yeah the paint jobs have sure changed and IMO not to the better....
Todays boats look like they´ve got either a batch of paint cans fallen over them or a pages of comic books have been thrown on them with the force of a hurricane.

Depends on what level you´re racing.
Operating a powerboat is easier than sailing thou.
*I´ve competed in sailing since 1977 but prefer a powerboat with the family I never ever take my family with me in a sailboat just the crew I compete with....get my drift ?

races are longer in seas that are far greater then any storm course powerboat race in history. may want to read more then oso to get all the unbiased info...

Remember the last Volvo Ocean Race..it hit the tabloids many times because Volvo is sponsoring a "death-race".
