I'm tired of this vinyl crap!!! Everytime it gets touched a mark is left behind. Sometimes it comes off, sometimes it doesn't.

Is neoprene an alternative?

My new seats are blue brushed nylon, they feel just like neoprene and the stuff is extremely strong. Next time we get together I can give you a sample, I think you will be impressed. I got a 50ft. roll of it for $250 from Racetech (my seat manufacturer) to match my side panels to my new seats.
Are you going to the NYC dinner this Saturday night, if so I will bring some then.

Also, you might be interested in this. Coen has bob making a new mold for High Back buckets for the Y2K, these will be fully upholstered. Not a snap on type.

My seats are pretty much custom made racecar seats, white fiberglass buckets with padding covered by blue brushed nylon(highbacks in front and three lowbacks across the back). The stuff comes in rolls just like vinyl. Racetech makes a lot of custom seats for boats, especially those jetsprint boats(company is based in New Zealand) and they say the material holds up real well. If you want email me your address and I'll cut a swatch for you and send it to you in the mail.
