Is anyone here familiar with BoatMax (Minneford Marina) in City Island New York?? I am looking for rack storage on the North Shore of Long Island and this is the closest to where I live (about 12 mile drive). I stopped by there today and the place looks pretty nice.......I am just curious about getting in and out at low tide........I know it's not as nice as the South Shore (Grover's, etc, etc) but sometimes you need a little change of scenery...........................

Happy New Year. Things are going OK. Work is hell, but thats nothing new. We still never got together to take the girls out one night. We have to get this going soon, before winter catches up to us here. Are you caught up at work yet, or I should say will you ever catch up?

Dotn forget, the last time you went around to the other side, it took you a weeks to get back due to weather. Then the engine problem.. What a mess that was. Besides, what about the Memorial day air show? Ofcourse you can tag along with me.

Actually I am just about caught up......new plant up and running....just doing some fine tuning. I will call you this week to make some plans for possibly the weekend after next....Would you ever consider rack storage on the north shore???? Not to many no wake zones over here.........WOT!!!!!!!!!!!!............and close to home.......

Even though I live and grew up close to the North side, I prefer the ocean. Water on the south seems somewhat cleaner as well. Besides, Louie would miss me if I wasnt at Grovers.

Minneford Marina is the only place in the bronx with rack storage..... You should have plenty of water to get in and out of the marina....

My only concern is the hours that they run and if they rack on the weekends, some yards around here put you in on Friday and don't take you out till Monday....

Thanks Speedgirl...........I was there yesterday and they said they work all weekend and even as late as 8pm sometimes.......i will be sure to double check though........
