Who carries the Merc. harness from the dash to motor???They seem pretty hard to find.

any mercury dealer can help you with that item, if you are referring to the engine harness which runs from the under dash area to the engine itself, having a canon plug on one end.

CP performance sells them also.

We keep them on the shelf. How long?

I will check the length when I go back to the storage garage.I did notice the trim harness plugs were pretty long,like 10',is that possible?How long should the motor to dash harness be?Looks like they ran from the plug on the motor straight to the dash with no plugs in the middle,maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

Merc makes a couple of set ups, there are 20 & 25 feet that are 1 piece. If you need longer there is a 3' dash harness and extension harness back to the engine (can't remember the lengths)
