Default Weight of 38 Top Gun or Outerlimits

Im thinking of installing a Davit Master boat lift and wondering what lift capacity is required. I currently have a 33 Powerplay but thinking of the future and possible next boat could be a T/G or 37 Outerlimits, or similar. Any suggestions??
Thanks.

I've got a 15,000lb lift for my TG and it works fine.

A mid-80's Gun weighs substantially more than an '06. So I suppose the answer to your question would be "it depends..."

I see. From 9800lbs - 13200lbs is a huge difference just from post 2 to 3

You and Cowis have got me thinking about a new rig now. The only things is, my dock, my budget and the season are to short for anything larger. Also the 33 can handle any water condition on LG with ease. But it sure is fun thinking about a new Tg, OL or a 38PP.

Believe me, Im not looking for now. I love my 33 Powerplay, but I need to think ahead.
