Default Boating in Jacksonville

I don't want to jump the gun and jinx myself, but there is a possibility I will be moving there in a month through work. Does anybody have the skinny on some boating in the area? I know there is a firemen's poker run once a year, that's all I know.

Thanks.

Randy

EXCELLENT

We have been going there every year for the past five years now and it is hard to beat.

If not for that ScarabJ guy I would move there!

Good Luck

It is a nice area to boat in. You can run to St Augustine for lunch or even down to Daytona within a few hours. Huge wide open areas/ lakes in the area.

One of the go fastest of all is there

I would love to move back up there. I can think of 7 or 8 boats that I've personally been with in the 2 times I got up there (not counting the poker run). And I know there are more. You would be in great company and it will start with Bill Sr. They have a hi-perf boating club there as well. The river, the ICW, offshore, the Jax Landing.............Tis a good place to be!
