I bought a huge gil oil cooler at a swap meet today...........It has to be 4in diameter and almost two feet long.....It was still in the box and chromed...........good coolers or no seems to be built awsome

Something that big is probably going to need a thermostat for the oil. I bought a 3" by 20" oil cooler / ps cooler for 115$ chromed out a couple of weeks ago myself.

HAven't mounted it yet, but I think it will do the trick for my 509 whipple motor.

Hope you can find some mounting hardware for it. I have only seen 3" and 2" supports.

no, brand new it was still in the box............Its a big pucker,it has to be a cooling son of a beech..............the end caps say savage but the decal says gill

From Hardin marine ....

FACT: Chroming of any cooler reduces its cooling capacity by as much as 40% so always paint or coat your cooler for best results. Don't risk your engine life to a poorly constructed cooler, it's what's inside that counts - demand Hardin Marine coolers.
I dont buy it though ....the heat is dissipated via the water ...m
