Cool In-Control Equipment Throtles

Old shifter is giving me fits, time to replace. Has anyone ever used one of their gunwall mount billet shifters? I am looking at the dual lever single engine gunwall mount unit. If so are they high quality? Were you able to find a trim switch to mount on the throttle that looked and worked like it belonged there?

Hold out and buy a Livorsi setup. If $$ is an issue, they come up used qyite often here in the classifieds and Ebay. You'll be glad you waited and got the best.

That is a $700 shifter. I've seen them used on Ultra and Dana boats, so I'm guessing the quality is just fine. Here's a pic of one.

If you're just looking to replace a worn out Teleflex/Morse unit, check out the Teleflex CH1700 model. I just got one for my '88 Baja and it's a big improvement. I got the unit below on the right for $215 at boatfix. It's a CH1700-211010. Here's how to determine which model you want...

#'s after the dash are options...There are 6 digits...
-0 (color set up 0 is all black, 2 would be chrome and black
0 would be tilt button (1 yes, 0 no)
0 would be cut off switch( 1 , inboard/stern 2 Outboard, 0 none)
0 (future options none currently available)
0 Trim Switch (0 no 1 yes)
last 0 is also not available yet...

The in-control is by far the best side mount shifter!

Where do you mount the trim switch with the In-Control Throttles?

Look at the pic above of the Ultra. I'm guessing that's the trim switch mounted on the steering wheel.
