What is under the cockpit floor in my 29 Outlaw?

I'm looking for some more storage room & room for batteries, specifically. So, what is under the floor of my 29 Outlaw? I'm refering to the areas under the bolsters on the left & right of the center mounted fuel tank.

Just the hull.
You would have to build some structual supports to mount accessories to. Then of course have a hole in the floor large enough to get them through.
Personally I would not do that.

I thought of moving them into the engine compartment, but there just ain't room.
I would like to open it up & put in some floor doors for access. Nothing fancy & the doors would be covered with the carpet. You know what I'm talking about? Like this: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...12962/12945/24

Yes, but again you are cutting a pretty big hole.
I would check with Baja first to make sure there are no structual issues to be concerned with.
My waste water holding tank is under the floor ahead of the fuel tank, immediately before the cuddy entrance. But there is just a small round 6 inch access in the floor. I would think that a large hatch door would be a problem?
