Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am in the process of selling my pride and joy. Its the fastest F1 there ever was or will be and will have fresh power, new gimbal, new outdrive and re-assembled within the week. The bulkheads have been re-inforced in order to handle the rough and boat has been thru a complete overhaul over the winter. Accesories include: 1 helmet, Lifeline, 5 blade Throttle Up Cnc'd 27, and a Bravo 26. Boat is turn key. If there is any interest feel free to PM me.
Thanks

Trent,
Give it time... things will come together for you guys and hopefully you will be back on the course again soon. You have a great boat , and an outstanding team good thing will come.
With a 16 race schedule you have plenty of time to get the boat back together and do some testing.
The KW race will to on TV soon and when you watch that you'll be ready to get back at it again. We had a blast and this year will be the biggest and best Offshore has seen in years, and I know you don't want to miss it.

Trent,
That is sad news to say the least! I hope you guys can get things worked out and get back on the course in the future.
You and Scott are true professionals in every sense of the word. Losing you guys would be a great loss to the sport.
Again, if we can help in anyway, do not hesitate to let us know.

We appreciate the kind words from everyone! Sean, your right, it is sad news, but unfortunatly a reality. Reality is something that I have hard times accepting for the past 6 years since I have been a part of offshore racing. I keep thinking offshore will improve and get better, but after studying the history back into the 80's when I first got the bug, it is a vicious cycle that keeps rearing its ugly head. Too many egoes involved and as long as that continues, offshore will eat little guys like me up and then promptly spit us out. This sport is so awesome, I love it so much that I have let it affect me into ruining two businesses. A smart guy would say enough is enough after one, but no this dumb ole redneck had to do it twice.
Bruce made a lot of sense in his post and I thank you for considering us a quality team. That means a lot to me coming from you. I have to disagree with your last statement though. Any big name sponsor that comes on board is a positive for all of offshore racing, whether it benefits the racers or not. Other big names will try and figure out whats going on and want a piece of the action. Then, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes a realization for the racers. It will take time, unfortunatly we are a sponsor funded team and w/o a sponsor's backing we are up a creek w/o a paddle. Getting to that light is the issue.
I totally support Carbonell and his efforts of over 25 years to make this a better sport. Is he perfect, he'll be the first to tell you no, but he still keeps plugging away doing something that he loves. There are two things that will survive a nuclear holocaust, cockroaches and John Carbonell. Dont think for a minute that his ultimate goal isnt to have all racers paid and compensated for their time. Until that goal is achieved, I guess he will have to keep playing spagetti sponsors until something sticks, just as we the teams do day in and day out.
My suggestion would be to quit criticizing any power that be and be more proactive. Dont expect any association or club to take care of you, take care of yourself. I counted on things said to me to come to fruition and they didnt, I am the fool for believing it, especially knowing the history of our sport. So who gets the blame here? You got it, Trent does.
I want no pity from no-one. Offshore will always be a part of me and I will always be apart of offshore in some shape or form. I hope that if there are teams out there in our situation you take notes and learn from my mistakes, shoot I know they are plentiful. I am full of hope and faith that this sport will turn for the best, but please quit telling me that this year will be the biggest we have seen in years. We've heard that for 3 years running now. When the season is over, then tell me how great and big last season was.
Dont count me out yet, just because I threw the boat up for sale doesnt mean it will sell and I have said in previous posts"it doesnt look like we will make it, but we are trying our best" and who knows if the boat does sell, I just might have to buy me a another one and torment myself. I'm not on the phone with the lawyers all day long discussing the pending suit against the team, we are calling other potential sponsors to see if we can pull it off
good luck to all and thank you for your continueing support
see ya'll in Hollywood

PS Pat, I dont think the boat would work for what your thinking, its only a 2 seater, but then again when the old decals came off they were replaced with ones that say"The Love Boat" I'm game if your with me baby!!!!!!

Trent,
We'll see you in Hollywood I know you'll be together by then no matter what it takes... I'm sure Innovation will have your motor done, and with all those fresh Ponys it should be a race. You aren't going to give me a win that easy.

When the promises made come to fruition, we will be back with a vengence and you will see the old overly competitive guys that used to agravate you. For now, it is what it is, as we always say to each other.
We are currently still trying to obtain sponsorship for the race and the plan is to break the motor in and re-set the boat setup over in Bradenton so I can give it all she has come next weekend if we are able to pull it off.
Trying to turn over a new leaf and be realistic in my life, especially where offshore is concerned.
Good luck to you and Richard next weekend and more importantly be safe. We have always been your biggest cheerleaders and will be there to help you in any way possible.
