I'm thinking of about buying one I found on ebay. It was posted 3 times and never sold. It has a 260 merc and a custom trailer. Seems to be in really good shape other than a couple split seems on the seats. Dealer says it only has 268 hours on it. Any help would be great.... or if anyone knows of one for sale? Also I won't be able to see it before I buy so any advice on having it inspected?

Thanks Shore Thing. I'm new to this so is a survey the same as having it inspected by a local shop? The shop I talked to said it would be about $250.
Thanks By U Boy... I'll check it out.

No... you need a marine surveyor to check out the boat.
Then you'll want a, no, you want your mechanic there to do a compression and leak down test.

and grip, my $0.02 worth... and this does not apply to all on this board, but i'd rather buy a boat from a guy on this site who is actually into the sport, and may care more about his stuff, than just some guy who has a boat to beat on.
If you are on this site, there is a good chance you're here to learn or teach, but eitherway you into hp boating enough to be here.
