I can here them too but they just worry me......I love to be reliable and I don't want to be missing a single second of summer......I will see......I think a good thorough survey might make me feel better.....

do a good compression/leak down should cover u.
damn, when i got my boat in 04, it had a crappy compression.
never did a leakdown... and got a full season outta it.

For a surveyor just do a web search and type in the word SAMS. You will get a lot of stuff for Sam's Club and Walmart, but you will also get a few sites that list SAMS surveyors by city and state. SAMS stands for Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. I have used surveyors found on these sites before will good results.

I don't know of a surveyor in our area. If you have no luck call Kevin "Skinny" Cundiff at MPH Motorsports. He has done lots of work for me and can spot problems a mile away. Not a surveyor but I would trust him more than the SAMS surveyor I had. He wrenced at Lake Cumberland Marine before starting his own shop. 606-679-4000. Good Luck, Eric
