After seeing many discussions of locking out timing on blower motors, I would like to try it. I am currently running a Thunderbolt 4 ignition system circa 1989 with a 14 degree advance module and a blaster 2 coil. Is there a way to lock this distributor and eliminate the 14 degree module???? Or can the advance in the module be eliminated? Does the stock Thunderboltbolt 4 have a shift interuptor? I'm thinking it doesn't ? I would like to do it w/ the stock merc system if possible or.....
I also have an MSD 6al box w/rev limiter and cockpit timing timing adjuster however I do not know what wires to eliminate to make this work or if the stock distributor be locked out?
Lil' help here? Thanks.

Run into this same problem yesterday...lets figure this out.
The hall effect must probably be changed to a magnetic pickup (type pertronix) then use the MSD6 and it´s coil.
Where to get a ignition advance control (box) to work with is a ? as I believe the TB4 module can´t cope.
Haven´t been surfing (shopping) around enough yet.
