re-doing dash with all new gauges. reinforced rubber fuel lines going into the back of the old gauges now
doesnt seam safe to me. carb non-blower motors with mechanical fuel pumps. do i really need the gauges? if so, how can i use an electrical gauge instead? the electrical gauges are 0-100 psi. gauge needle wont move much anyway.
what do you guys recommend?

Livorsi make an electrical 0-30 PSI fuel gauge. All you need to do is install an inline fitting by the carb that will allow an 1/8 pipe fitting for the electrical sender to be screwed in.Then just connect the wires and you are done.Get rid of that fuel line up under the dash, like you said, not very safe at all.

Steve - my old Cig has the same mech fuel gauges, BUT the new Livorsi electric 0-15 psi just came in Friday with all the others.
BTW - where are you keeping your Bullet now why you're doing all the upgrages?
