I am looking at a '96 33zx w/ 502 MPI's. The boat is located in Pompano Beach. Is there any problems with this boat or model and is anybody familiar with the boat that was for sale. It was on ebay a couple days ago.

I am guessing the boat will be a mid to low 60's boat but with the wide beam it will be accomodating to the family.

I will need the name of a surveyor in the area to go take a look before I head down from Nashville to see the boat so if anyone knows anyone they trust, let me know.

Anybody seen this boat with some bigger power to see how it performs?

I owned a 99, 33ZX not sure how much changed by then. 99 had stepped hull and 500HP power. Boat ran well but chine walked at 78-80 mph. Not a very good rough water boat but cabin and cockpit are nice.
