I am thinking about using one of these filtration systems. I was just wondering if anyone has used one or had any thoughts on it? It has both a full flow filter and by-pass filter in one system.

Big rig diesels use these systems all the time. The bypass system is designed to filter the oil better than a standard full flow system. They do prolong the life of the oil but i've never seen conclusive evidence that they help with engine wear rates. With our high $$ engines we don't leave the oil in the motors long enough to really need a bypass system.

These big rigs that hold 15-30 qts oil are setup with bypasses to help with less maintenance.
