Looks just like any west coast lake in late summer, people just deal with it here. In drought years the lakes get WAY lower than that and they have to extend the ramps out or close them down, just lake life.

I'll stick to the Delta and Bay, water only goes as low as the tide.

happend to Livingston during Hurricane Rita... dam broke and let a lot of water out... then they repaired and expected it to take 2-3 years to fill back up.... had A LOT of rain and it filled in 2 days after the rain started.

Alligators moved in on my grandparents new "beach"... but they are gone now with the water up on the bulkheads

Looks a lot like our lakes Mead and Powell, both down about 100'. Whats the drop in level here?

wow . . . thats pretty nuts. but gotta fix the damn dam. heck maybe i could go find the swim platform i smeared off the back of a houseboat we got from statedock several years ago . tried to turn a 65 foot houseboat around in a 62 foot cove . . .luckily they didnt notice it when we brought it back.
