An explosion, which is nothing more than a very quick and very powerful increase in sound pressure level (along with the shrapnel) is 4 to 5 times more powerful under water than it is in the air. Now if they could just get their hands on an old school depth charge!!!

That's a sweet idea. They just have to make damn sure their ears are not under water when that thing blows.
