Default toyota FJ Cruiser, who has one, like it, or not??

I will be replacing the Z-71 soon, with something a little smaller, either going Toyota, or Jeep, gotta have a 6 cylinder for my commute. Only problem with Jeep is the tow rating(3500#) vs. Toyota FJ(5000#). I may still go with a pickup, but if I do, it will definitely be a Tacoma, that is already determined.

OK, who has comments, good or bad.

Thanks,

Rick

I'm also interested. Thinking of one for the wife. Our Hemi Durango is a gas pig. Wife wants something a little smaller. I think they look pretty cool.

You can never go wrong with a toyota, they are always on top in ever magazine. I have had them for my service trucks for years and they just dont let you down.

Car & Driver ranked it pretty low in their recent SUV Of The Year ranking. Very small inside and poor forward visibility were two things that stood out

I love the old FJ's....this one is growing on me. Needs some bigger wheels and tires and those tail lights got-to-go.

I think the Gaay Blade........err......I mean Ga boy Joker has a flamer Blue one that he won't shut up about.....

I do like the Silver ones when they have a nice set of custom wheels added.

Greg,

Yes, I would get the silver, but only because they dont come in White, with the offroading we do, the darker colors will show the scars too easy. As far as wheels, the Alcoas, and 33" Swampers from my Z-71 bolt right up.
