Need opinions on type of flooring for cockpit . Carpet or vinyl?
Cigarette is using some nice stuff. Anyone know the material or manufacturer?

I used Lonseal vinyl diamond plate in the gun metal color. it looks great, cleans up nice, and surpisingly does not get hot in the sun. Everyone says they really like it! I would never go back to carpet.

Carpet is just a recepticle for sand, dirt, Doritos, spooge, beer, spunk, junk, salt, mold, and any other unwanted debris. It doesn't clean easy and smells after a while. It has no place in a boat IMHO. Lonseal is great stuff and I wouldn't hesitate putting it in my boat again. Look at the Loncoin II, it cleans well and looks great as well as it has a non-slip surface.

Lonseal as well...yellow Loncoin was in the cat and used silver diamond plate with the phantom, even in the engine comparment. Great way to go...save the carpet for the cabin...

Isn't spooge n spunk the same

Do you have to glue in the lonsel or can you just lay it in?

Had to make sure all the bases were covered LOL!!!

It can be glued in with their 2 part epoxy adhesive, or you can use contact cement if you feel you'll need to pull it up someday.
