Boating in Mississippi ?

Theres a lake smaller than ours Its a 4,100 acre lake .I wouldnt go there. Ours in Jackson is 33,000-acre Ross Barnett Reservoir. No reason to go here also if ya have a choice
Its about 7 miles across and full of stumps, muddy and one small bar/restaurant here.On the rez here the river feeding it has white sand bars that are fun,but you take the chance of stumps. There is the Johnson Tombiggee water way in Meridian I wouldnt boat there either.
The Ms Gulf Coast is not worth going to right now there not rebuilding it,just the casinos. Its still tore up pretty bad and would be about 3.5 hours from Meridian. The Islands are about 15 miles out and are pretty cool.

If I lived in the Meridian I would hit the lakes in Al or run down to Gulf Shores /Orange Beach Al.
Whats the deal? You must be going to working in the Gov. there?

I plan on being there for the races, let me know when you planning on getting in town, maybe we grab a cold one. I mostly run out to Horn, I actually like the new landscaping Katrina did, it has made much more room for boat parking, & the split, you can even run thru, just bump the drive up a bit at low tide....

We will be there Fri am Staying at the Isle, defiantly will have many cold ones, will do...I figure we will watch from the parking garage? With the bridge out its a pain in the azz.
We"ve been to horn a few times ,didnt like it being so desolate, good for being nude
I like Ship the best ,the more people the better, more white sandy beaches to me also.O yea watch out for the Chiquita Banna boat
it wll get ya
