Default Offer: 40k for a 1996 47 Lightning?

I am asking 139k. 120 original hours, boat is in excellent condition on a Myco.

LaBout offered me 40k for this boat. Should I take it?

Is it just me or is that a really low ball offer?

Yes it's a low ball big time, I had a Big Dealer offer me about 70k for my 50 Nortech, and after I called him on it he said all he was going to do is haul it to FL. and make about 50k on it.

I my opp. a lot of the boat dealers out there are azzholes, they rather make a ton of money on one deal and not get a customer for life, and make good money on a bunch of deals over the years.

I am still looking for a dealer that will sell a boat to you one year and offer more than half of what you paid two years later in trade.
