Default Bow Bunny on the new 24...

I think the little one loves the new boat. These are about the only pics I have so far of us in the new 24 Pantera. We'll be out again this weekend so hopefully one of our friends have a camera with them.

Thanks again to Ernie in NC (Wylie-Rat), the boat was exactly as described over the phone and through email. Also to Rob (Stormrider) and Jeff (JCPerf) for helping me with some of the questions I had through the buying process.

I didn't realize there was that much room up there. I wish the 28's were like that.

ziemer, great pics and it is always nice to have young helpers with any boat project.

What is your fairing or windscreen made of. It looks like it frees up more dash room than others that I have seen.
thanks

I think it's a hard white plexiglass. It looks nice but doesn't do a whole lot for wind protection.

it is white pelxi, about 3/8"(?) thick.
But its not what the fairing is made of, its the shape.
The fact that the boat is an SE is what gives it more dash room.

And if you were 4'10" tall the fairing would keep wind out of your face, but you would need a periscope to see where you are going.

Ziemer - My old boat looks great and from talking with you it's running great to - I am glad that you and your family are enjoying it - I can't wait to get my new 2005 28 Pantera in the water - Days are getting warmer in North Carolina and summer is on the way - Once again I am glad to see you enjoying the 24 Pantera

Hey Wylie-Rat, let me know if you will be up on Lake Norman any time this summer, and we can try to hook up. I know there is another Pantera on the lake. We do not have a truck/SUV to trailer our boat yet (jeep wrangler with 4.0 at this time to tow things, but not able to tow the boat), so we are lake norman bound. we are on the Mooresville side and are down the finger were Stutts Marina and Vinnies are. We should have the boat back on the water in a month or so. Congrats on the new boat.
