was running 27 pitch hydromotive props 68 mph 4800 rpms.
tried bravo 1 26 pitch ran 72 at 4800 rpm 40 degrees outside.
what prop should i try next was looking at 26 pitch hydo's now not sure

My 1995 single step w/hp500s came from the factory with 28 Mach? props.

i have a 92 35 lighting 502's and i have 26 hydro's 72 steady 75 all the right things (low fuel,no people,no beer)turning4900 rpm's i know you have a step not sure how that would play out.

25 hydros spinning in should put you at 4950 on the 502s. Might need 26 depending on where you boat( I.E. elevation, air density)

I have the exact same boat with 496 Mag HOs (which are almost the same HP). I'm running 26 pitch Bravo 1s (turning in) and get 5150 Rs. It seems to me that you should be doing better than the 4800 you indicate..
