better marine head units

better marine head units
just curious if you all can shed some light on which head unit you prefer im tossing around clarion and kenwoods headunits!
the kenwwod part # is KTS-MP400MR and the clarion part # is CMD4. both look like great units and i know alot of boat manuf. use both just curious if one is better than the other, now i plan to use clarion marine speakers, but i want a good head unit and something that will hook up with ipod interface, which both will, so please pro's and cons and help me pick some good stuff!
