I'm posting from my boat tonight ( Sunday )
You gotta love a blackberry and a laptop, I'm posting from my boat right now, I got a wild hair after working on my boat all weekend so I decided to come out and run her. It's about 67 degrees now with no wind and I tied into some shorepower to get some juice, I plan on paying bills later and watching a movie before bedding down tonight. I have a couple of friends coming out in the morning and doing a little running around for half a day. All you poor bastards in the mid west just relax, your time is coming.

Well the night has taken a turn for the worse, some ol codger security guy ( see Barney Fife ) Just kicked me off the marina docks because there are no guest slips, only slips for marina members. I said OK how much for a membership? He just looked at me and said I would have to wait until the morning, I said fine but he said you still cant stay WTF!!!! I offer to buy a membership and I cant stay.. Anyhow he was just being a **** so I left. Now Im at the public dock

So I ran into these US Forestry guys at the back bay picnic area ( accessible only by boat ) and they were policing up litter and I was the only one there so I pitched in for an hour then sat at a table and paid bills (SEE MOBILE OFFICE
) They said thanks for the help and took off and 45 min later so did I, I caught up with them dead in the water and offered them a tow, at first they declined but when he called HQ and found out help was still 45 away he accepted the offer, great timing as right when we got to dock 1 their buddies showed up to help dock. I don't think I have to worry about these guys writing me tickets any time soon Who says powerboaters dont have a heart huh?
