Default Paint over Epoxy Resin?

I have done some glass repairs to a bulkhead in the engine/bilge area and I am going to paint it. I purchased white Bilgecoat by Interlux and am curious if there are any special prep procedures or primer that is recommended. Any advise would be appreciated.

Most epoxies usually have a re-coat window of about 24 hours. I'm assuming you're past that. Some epoxy also leaves what they call a "blush" which is a oily feeling film on the surface after it cures. If you have this it must be removed, usually a wet rag wipedown will do it. Let it dry, lightly sand it so you get some mechanical adhesion, wipe it down with acetone and then paint it.
